In 2017 DigiCert acquired PKI and SSL/TLS business from then the largest Certificate Authority, Symantec after Symantec PKI was distrusted by Google and Mozilla.
Acquisitions included top ssl brands – GeoTrust, Symantec, VeriSign, RapidSSL, Thawte
In 2018, DigiCert acquired QuoVadis, a Trust Service Provider that provided PrimoSign electronic Signature software.
